The 2020 American Music Awards were held last night, and despite the fact that we are still in the grip of the pandemic, the stars looked stunning. Although the concert was unique, several of our favorite celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez, attended and performed.

 

Lopez never makes an appearance without looking stunning, and she did just that at Sunday night’s awards presentation. It’s no surprise that the “Jenny from the Block” singer is a beauty chameleon, since the 51-year-old triple threat can rock any hair or makeup look.

Lopez wore a different style to the AMAs, with a long bob that just skimmed her shoulders. It’s a shorter hairstyle than we’re used to seeing on the performer. Her hair was fashioned in the popular damp look and parted in the center with gentle waves. Lopez’s hair was fashioned by Chris Appleton, a celebrity hairstylist who frequently collaborates with JLO.

In addition to her amazing hairstyle, the “Hustlers” actress’ makeup was flawless as always. Lopez’s makeup included a gentle smoky eye, bronzed contoured cheekbones, and a nude lip. The 51-year-old’s makeup was done by Mary Phillips, a celebrity cosmetic artist who often works with the Kardashians.

If Lopez’s hair and cosmetics weren’t enough to impress us, her evening outfit did. The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer sported a silver two-piece Balmain ensemble that highlighted her toned body. The top had shoulder pads and a draped, plunging neckline. It was coupled with a long silver skirt with a thigh-high slit that revealed the singer’s toned legs. She completed her appearance with silver strappy shoes.

Lopez eventually changed out of her costly outfit for a performance with Colombian artist Maluma at yesterday night’s awards ceremony. JLO and Maluma are appearing in the upcoming film “Marry Me,” which will be released in 2021.
