Last night, Taylor Swift made a subtle change to one of her song lyrics, which made me want to hug her

As you already know, Taylor Swift is currently on her record-breaking Eras Tour. Every night at the show, she provides two different surprise songs.

Well last night, her best friend Abigail Anderson Berard was in the crowd.

The two have remained close friends since they were teens, and their friendship is everything.

Anyway, Friday night in Nashville, Taylor undoubtedly performed “Fifteen,” the Fearless-era song she wrote about Abigail and herself in high school.

But she switched one of the lyrics in the bridge. Normally, the song goes:

“Back then, I swore I was gonna marry him somedayBut I realized some bigger dreams of mineAnd Abigail gave everything she hadTo a boy who changed his mindAnd we both cried.”

However, last night, Taylor added one line at the end. “And we both cried, but that’s alright!”

It’s quite telling because we know Taylor recently broke up and Abigail recently divorced.

That tiny poetic addition simply demonstrates how they’ve supported each other through their ups and downs, which I think is fantastic.
