Facebook users saw pictures of Beyoncé and Blue Ivy Carter on Friday. Blue Ivy Carter looked very grown up in the pictures. Mom and daughter went to Brooklyn Central Library for the night to see Jay-Z’s Book of HOV display. They were both dressed for the occasion.
The Renaissance star wore a bright orange outfit by designer LaQuan Smith that hugged her body for the night. The outfit was a lace shirt with a button-up collar worn over a pencil skirt made of similar lace. She had a small gold bag in her hand and her hair was pulled back into a high ponytail. Honey-colored waves fell behind her.
Blue Ivy wore a dress with an off-the-shoulder top and a high skirt that stood out. She added some style to her look with trendy sunglasses, a gold necklace, and a small blue bag with a long strap.
Along with pictures of her husband’s work, Beyoncé showed pictures from inside the library in the slide. “Thousands of archived objects,” such as “original recording masters, never-before-seen photos, iconic stage wear, prestigious awards and recognitions, as well as videos and artifacts from every aspect of Jay-Z’s professional life,” are part of the show, according to the event.
And it says, “The Book Of HOV is a tribute exhibition at the Brooklyn Public Library, Central Branch, honoring Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter’s amazing rise from the Marcy Projects in Brooklyn to becoming a worldwide star.” The multimedia show looks at how JAY-Z has changed the world as a musician, inventor, businessman, and donor.
“With The Book of HOV tribute exhibition, we want to give people a behind-the-scenes look at a Hall of Fame singer and songwriter, a successful businessman, and a generous donor who will never forget the lessons he learned along the way.” And the borough where his trip started. “Bet on yourself all the time.”
