In the past few weeks, Taylor Swift has been hinting at the upcoming re-release of her 2017 album, Reputation, through a series of fashion Easter eggs, including jeweled green gowns and snake boots that reach up to the knee. Swifties went crazy for it, and soon after, hypotheses circulated online based on fan theories. Since she just added Japanese subtitles to the music video for “Look What You Made Me Do,” some have even speculated that she may announce the new Taylor’s Version album at her next stop in Tokyo on her Eras tour. Regardless, Tay went out for a girls’ night in NYC on Tuesday, continuing her parade of Reputation-coded ensembles. Joined by friends Brittany Mahomes and Cara Delevingne, the singer-songwriter was seen making their way to Nobu for supper. Swift sported a tiny black dress, matching stockings, and platform boots for the outing, accessorizing with a flouncy skirt and billowing sleeves.
As she and her new best friend cheered on the Kansas City Chiefs to victory on Sunday, Mahomes sported an asymmetrical houndstooth skirt and jacket, accessorized with black shoes and a white Chanel purse. Black velvet tuxedo pants and matching clunky boots were Delevingne’s color palette as well.
Model and actress joined Swift and Mahomes in the suite during Sunday’s game in Buffalo. Jason Kelce, who is known as Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, cheered on his younger brother Travis by removing his shirt and consuming beer in the stands. In Wednesday’s episode of their podcast New Heights, the Philadelphia Eagles center opened up about his wife Kylie Kelce’s disapproval of his antics. She had cautioned him to behave himself before the game, saying, “We were meeting Taylor [Swift].”
But Travis assured his brother that he made a lasting impression on Swift, saying, “Tay said she absolutely loved you.”
