Blue Ivy Carter was the center of attention, even though Jay-Z had won the award.
Beyoncé, the rapper’s eldest child, accompanied her father onstage at the 2024 Grammys to win the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award.
Blue, 12, looked stunning in a cream off-the-shoulder dress, teamed with big white shoes and handbag.
The preteen, who spent last year performing with her mom on the “Renaissance” global tour, finished her outfit with long braids and a glossy pout.
Blue grinned as she stood next to her 6-foot-2 father, who is nearly the same height.
Jay-Z referred to his 2014 acceptance speech, saying, “I used to say this was a sippy cup for Blue, but Blue’s grown now,” while wearing a black suit and unbuttoned black shirt. “She doesn’t take sippy cups and has her own Grammy!”

Indeed, in 2021, Blue became the second youngest artist to win a Grammy for her mother’s song “Brown Skin Girl” in the category of best music video.
Blue, who was nine at the time, was given a composition credit for the song.
Jay-Z, 54, honored Beyoncé, who won the most Grammys ever, during his victory speech on Sunday.
The 42-year-old chart-topper for “Break My Soul” has 32 accolades.

“I don’t wanna embarrass this young lady, but she has won more Grammys than anyone and never won album of the year. So even by your own metrics, that doesn’t work,” the “99 Problems” hitmaker stated sternly.
“Think about that: the most Grammys; never won album of the year,” he added as cameras panned over to his spouse, who stood stoically in the audience.
“Some of you will go home tonight and feel like you’ve been robbed. Some of you may get robbed. Some of you don’t belong in the category.”

Beyoncé, who wore a bedazzled Western attire for music’s biggest night, was seen smiling uncomfortably when her husband stated, “When I get nervous, I tell the truth.”
He grasped his daughter’s hand and reminded the audience that “in life, you gotta keep showing up until they give you all those accolades you feel you deserve.”
Jay-Z, who has won 24 Grammys throughout his career, married Beyoncé in April 2008. They also have twins Rumi and Sir Carter, both six years old.
