While most celebrities were off gallivanting in the Mediterranean, Taylor Swift was enjoying summer in the city.
The 24-year-old enjoyed some alone time while out in warm New York on Friday.
The singer flaunted her long legs in another adorable attire for the event.
The thigh-skimming gown was made of sheer blue gingham cloth and had a lovely pointed flat white collar, reminiscent of summer schoolgirl uniforms.
She wore it with blue heeled brogues and a striking red handbag, which she slung on her arm in classic Taylor style.
Matching her lipstick to her red accessories, she had a nicely made-up face for someone exiting a gym, and her golden blonde bangs were fashioned with a subtle Farah flare.
The I Knew You Were Trouble star ate some Pinkberry frozen yogurt before looking deep in contemplation, listening to her iPod and bringing her hand to her brow munch one point as if attempting to recall something.

Country sweetheart Taylor acted as agony aunt to a loverlorn teen on Instagram this week.
The teen super fan, called Caitlyn, was over the moon when Taylor response to her message, giving her thorough and heartwarming advise about her heartache.
‘Taylor Swift just commented on my Instagram when I needed her most and I’m going through heartbreak and I’m crying,’ she wrote.
Only a week ago, Taylor hit the headlines for helping out a different fan (Hannah), who asked the Grammy-winning songstress for advice on unrequited love.

Of course, Taylor is as famous for her turbulent love life as she is for her music. She frequently writes songs about her famous prior loves and controversial breakups, which include Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, and John Mayer.
The blonde beauty has even compared music to dating, claiming that discovering new musicians or albums may range from ‘a brief affair’ to meeting ‘the one’.
‘Some music is just for fun, a passing fling (the ones they dance to at clubs and parties for a month while the song is a huge radio hit, that they will soon forget they ever danced to),’ she wrote for the Wall Street Journal earlier this month.
‘Some songs and albums represent seasons of our lives, like relationships that we hold dear in our memories but had their time and place in the past.
‘However, some artists will be like finding ‘the one’. We will cherish every album they put out until they retire and we will play their music for our children and grandchildren.’
