On Friday night, Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce decided to forego Coachella in favor of a romantic dinner at one of Swift’s favorite Los Angeles restaurants.

Many people thought the couple was going to the desert to see her longtime friend Lana Del Rey play, but they opted to spend some quality time away from the throng instead.

The 34-year-old pop diva and Kansas City Chiefs player left Sushi Park, a strip mall on the second level, holding hands and looking very much in love. 

Dua Lipa, Kendall Jenner, Beyoncé, and Harry Styles are just a few of the A-listers who attend the low-key celebrity hangout.

While many fans speculated the couple would be heading to the desert to watch her longtime pal Lana Del Rey perform, the couple passed on the three-weekend event for a little quality time away from any crowds

Only open for three hours a day, Tuesday through Saturday, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, this omakase-only Japanese restaurant has a stringent no pictures or films policy. Swift went out in style for their evening out, donning a red varsity jacket with white racing stripes down the sleeves, a dark top, and denim skirt. The jacket was adorned with a ‘W’ decal on the front. A $3,200 Gucci bag and her trademark red lipstick were also on display. A pair of black sneakers, matching shorts, and an olive-green long-sleeved shirt made her boyfriend look dashing. Despite missing out on the first weekend of Coachella, the couple may be intending to attend the second weekend (April 19–21). ‘Taylor and Lana had dinner this week to chat about their time at Coachella, and what they will be doing and wearing.’ (source: DailyMail.com) Well, it seems like they’ve thought of everything. Having a carefree and entertaining time in the desert is their first priority. ‘They want to be more chill,’ the insider said, adding that the tension of Coachella can be heightened by the large crowds and various events.The women’s attire will be “hippie chic with an artist flair for fun” in an effort to “capture the vibe of Coachella,” as the sentence was amended.
