Some see Beyoncé and Jay-Z as attempting to pilfer ideas from Kimye and Kanye.

Social media users were divided after last week’s announcement of the pair’s On the Run II tour. With Jay-Z riding shotgun, Beyoncé posed for a promotional Instagram snap from the tour on March 12.

The shot quickly went viral online, with fans comparing the two stars to scenes from Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s motorcycle scene and Kanye West and Kim’s “Bound 2” music video. The 2013 music video also has Kanye and Kim getting naked on a motorcycle.

An internet user questioned her followers on Twitter, “Why does it look like Jay Z & Beyoncé are about to drop a country version of Bound 2?” in reference to the promotional video for the tour, which additionally depicts the rappers riding motorcycles together.

 

Jay and Bey have been seen in Jamaica since announcing On the Run II, recording what seems to be tour content. A couple was being recorded earlier this week as they rode motorcycles throughout Kingston, Jamaica.
