Despite not appearing on the red carpet until the afterparty, the singer of “Reputation” joined Idris to deliver the award on stage. Idris and Taylor will star in the upcoming Cats film adaption, which will be released in December of this year.

 

Fans on Twitter soon lost their cool when they spotted this iconic duo and Taylor’s unexpected presence. Taylor looked lovely in a black off-the-shoulder dress with a thigh-high slit. Will she perform “Dress” to her boyfriend Joe Alwyn, who is attending the Globes alongside the rest of The Favourite’s cast? Probably. Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and Idris Elba all took the stage at the same time to accept the prize for “Shallow” from A Star is Born. It was simply too much.
