The singer of “Hips Don’t Lie” shared a video of herself skateboarding, revealing her new hobby. In the clip, Shakira effortlessly glides down an empty road on a skateboard, emphasizing safety by wearing a helmet, shoulder pads, knee pads, and gloves. It remains unknown who inspired the 43-year-old artist to take up this daring pastime.

In May, Shakira gave fans a glimpse of her new hobby in a video accompanied by three rock hand emojis. She swiftly skated towards the camera and then away from the frame. This time, since the ride was brief, she let her long tresses flow freely without a helmet and skated without any additional protective gear.

Back in February, Shakira teased her fans with a photo of herself holding a skateboard while donning a beanie, t-shirt, hoodie, and leggings. The “Me Gusta” singer proved that she can excel in various roles, jokingly referring to herself as a “soccer mom and skate mom.”

Shakira, who is a mother to sons Milan (seven years old) and Sasha (five years old) with Gerard Piqué, has been developing and mastering numerous skills during her time at home. Aside from skateboarding, she has completed a Philosophy course and received a certificate from the University of Pennsylvania. She has also embraced the glamorous life of homeschooling and has become a perfect muse for her sons.

Fans need not worry, as Shakira is not leaving music behind. She recently announced that she will collaborate with the Black Eyed Peas on their latest album. The song titled “GIRL LKE ME” will be released on June 19th and will be featured on the new Black Eyed Peas album, #BEPTranslation.
