Taylor Swift stated during her second night of performances in Paris that she has been working on the Tortured Poets Department piece of her Eras Tour since last year.
The 34-year-old singer, who has updated her record-breaking tour, took a minute during her performance to share information with her attentive audience.
‘We started arranging this surprise for you around eight or nine months ago, and when we got “two months off” from the Eras Tour, we didn’t actually take any time off at all.
‘We went right back into rehearsals. So I’d like to give it up for my crew, dancers, and band,” she remarked during a break in the music.
Taylor released her tenth studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, on April 19.

Swift returned to her tour in style on Thursday, revealing new ensembles on stage in Europe.
Fans went berserk as the worldwide megastar delivered a high-energy performance.
She performed a modified setlist, replacing six songs with new TTPD tracks.
The three-hour show also featured new outfits.
Taylor made an arrival in a white Vivienne Westwood taffeta gown with a corset bodice.
It also included dramatic hip draping, with the phrases ‘I love you, it’s wrecking my life’ emblazoned on the skirt.
Before performing The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived, a track from her new album, she wrapped a matching white trench coat around her.
Taylor later showcased her form in an orange and pink beaded bodysuit.
It was worn with identical knee-high boots as she performed at the Paris La Defense Arena.
