Everyone is sure that Taylor Swift will appear as Dazzler in Deadpool & Wolverine. Granted, her attendance at Super Bowl LVIII alongside director Shawn Levy, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman fueled speculation. While we won’t know for sure until the film hits cinemas in June, a fresh rumor indicates Taylor Swift will play a role in the MCU anyway.

According to industry insider Daniel RPK, the pop star has met with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. Although it’s unknown how recently they met, their main purpose was to discuss her future role in the MCU.

So, if she were playing Dazzler, perhaps this discussion was to discuss how her part could evolve in the future. Alternatively, she may have met with Feige to negotiate a whole new job. After all, this would not be the first time someone has played multiple roles in the MCU. Simply ask Benedict Cumberbatch or Gemma Chan.

Swift would not be the first icon to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Following the Eternals, we know Harry Styles’ Starfox is out there someplace. Meghan Thee Stallion is somewhere on Earth, most likely drinking with She-Hulk. Unfortunately, we’ll just have to find out.
