Charlie Puth thanks Taylor Swift for his upcoming song ‘HERO’.
Charlie Puth surprised fans with a surprise revelation regarding his upcoming song, nearly a year after his previous tune That’s Not How This Works, which was released on March 31, 2023.
The Attention singer took to Instagram on Tuesday to share exciting news about his new single HERO, including a release date and a sweet statement to express his feelings.
Along with a sun-kissed snapshot of him resting in the garden, the We Don’t Talk Anymore singer described how his new song is relevant to listeners and praised Taylor Swift for inspiring him to release HERO.
“My new song HERO is about when you see someone you love hurting themselves, ruining the things in their life that are good, but you just can’t save them,” began Charlie.
He went on to say, “It’s one of the most difficult songs I’ve ever had to write, but I wrote it in the hopes that if you’ve been through something similar in your life, it would fill in the BLANK for you like it did for me. I’m very eager to share my next album with you, particularly this song, which is a terrific reflection of what’s to come.”
While thanking the 13-time Grammy winner, he continued, “+I’ve never put out a song like this before- it’s very different for me, but I want to thank @taylorswift for letting me know musically that I just couldn’t keep this on my hard drive any longer.”
“HERO is yours on May 24th, and this is the single artwork. “Thank you to all of my fans; you’ll never know how much you mean to me,” the musician wrote in his caption.
