Taylor Swift has defended Lady Gaga amid pregnancy rumours, as photographs of Gaga at her sister’s wedding revealed a curvaceous midsection in a skintight black dress.
Taylor, 34, responded on Wednesday to Lady Gaga’s TikTok video in which she denied being pregnant, after Gaga copied Taylor’s line in her caption.
Gaga, 38, captioned her TikTok video: ‘Not pregnant, just down bad weeping at the gym,’ a line from Taylor’s song Down Bad from her Tortured Poets Department Anthology.
Taylor added hours later in the comments section of Gaga’s video: ‘Can we all agree that commenting on a woman’s body is invasive and irresponsible? Gaga owes no one an explanation, and neither does any woman.
The word ‘Down terrible’ is commonly used to describe sentiments of desire and despair.

Lady Gaga denied rumours that she is pregnant with her and her boyfriend Michael Polansky’s first child via Tiktok on Tuesday night, effectively shutting off online speculation.
In a TikTok video, she pushed her 9.3 million followers to’register to vote’.
Gaga recorded a little video of herself from the chest up while getting her hair and cosmetics done.
Wearing a nude wig cap and heavy black eyeliner, she lip-synced the famous TikTok audio: ‘I don’t have to find an aesthetic, I am one. I mean, I’m sure someone out here right now is going to Pinterest and typing up all these terms to describe me.’
The conjecture began over the weekend, as the Just Dance singer visited her sister’s recent wedding in Maine.
Fans went crazy on Monday when Gaga attended her sister Natali Germanotta’s wedding in Maine.
She was joined by her 46-year-old boyfriend, entrepreneur Michael.

Stefani Germanotta, the actress’s true name, walked down the aisle with a groomsman on Saturday in a peach bridesmaid dress.
She also leaned up to her partner, whom she has been dating for nearly four years, while shooting photos throughout the wedding weekend.
The Grammy winner also wore a huge diamond band on her ring finger, fueling speculation that she and Michael may have taken another step in their relationship.
Lady Gaga was first romantically associated with Michael in 2020.
