Taylor Swift held back tears after being overwhelmed by fans’ cheers during her farewell Liverpool gig on Saturday, after her six-year ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn finally spoke out about their divorce.

On Thursday and Friday, the 34-year-old American pop singer played at Anfield Stadium, which seats 60,000 people.

Taylor became extremely distraught during her performance of Champagne Problems in front of a sold-out audience.

She removed her earpiece to thoroughly absorb the moment before yelling, ‘I love you so much, Liverpool, thank you!’
