Earlier this month, Shakira and the football player announced their separation in a statement, expressing regret and emphasizing their children’s wellbeing as their top priority.

“We regret to confirm that we are separating,” the statement read. “For the sake of our children, who are our highest priority, we request that you respect their privacy.”

Currently, the couple is embroiled in a custody battle over their children, Sasha and Milan. Shakira wishes to relocate them to Miami, while Pique opposes the move and insists they remain in Barcelona.
