Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have rejoined after being apart due to work.

The 31-year-old singer and actress has been away from the 36-year-old music producer, whom she has been dating since June 2023, while attending the Cannes Film Festival to promote her new film ‘Emilia Perez’ and recording the latest season of her hit show ‘Only Murders in the Building’ in New York.

Benny marked their reunion with a snapshot of Selena closing her eyes and sleeping on a white pillow, captioned “She’s Back.”

Selena revealed that she had planned to adopt a baby before meeting Benny, resulting in their reunion.

She told Time about adjusting to being a single mother: “I was alone for five years and had become accustomed to it. Many individuals are afraid of being alone, and I believe I tortured myself mentally for nearly two years before embracing it.

Selena went on to explain that she “came up with my plan” to adopt at the age of 35 if she “had not met anyone”.

She described how things changed when she met Benny: “It just happens when you least expect it.”

Selena said that her new spouse had shut out the “noise” of “hurtful” comments about her physique from trolls.

She stated, “I am aware of what people can do to those I care about. My own fans, whom I respect and believe have shaped who I am, will say the most terrible things to me about how I conduct my life.

“But he is so strong that he is unaffected by the noise.

“It’s incredibly impressive, and I enjoy every moment with him. I’m not sure what the future holds, but I know he’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

Selena announced her relationship with Benny, born Benjamin Levine, in December, and he stated earlier this month that his “next goal” is to have children with the actress.

“I have a tonne of godkids and nephews. “I enjoy being around kids.”

Selena’s close friends and family believe she and Benny are in a long-term relationship.

One insider told ‘Entertainment Tonight’ that she feels completely at ease with Benny.

“Their friends, family and loved ones on both sides are all supportive and happy to see what they think could be an amazing and long-lasting relationship between the two of them.”
