Shakira made her first appearance on Wednesday following reports that Hollywood A-lister Tom Cruise has taken an interest in the Colombian singer.
The 46-year-old looked fresh and glowing as she enjoyed a sunset boat ride with friends in Miami, Florida.
The boat picked up the multi-Grammy Award winner from her luxurious $20 million waterfront mansion before setting out onto the water. She sported a small lavender linen skirt paired with a crop top that revealed her toned abs, both adorned with funky beaded fringe on the front.
Layered over her outfit was a matching ruffled shirt left unbuttoned for a breezy feel. Shakira wore her flowing golden hair down and shielded her eyes with large black shades during most of her time outdoors. She completed her look with beige sandals and kept her iPhone in hand.
She was seen smiling and chatting with her friends as they headed towards the loading dock. Carefully stepping onto a MasterCraft X24 boat, which costs upwards of $233,100 when brand new, Shakira and her crew then ventured out onto the water to enjoy the sun.
This outing came shortly after reports emerged that Cruise, 60, has developed romantic interest in Shakira. The two were spotted together at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami over the weekend, where they posed for photos.
An insider revealed to Page Six that Cruise is keen on pursuing Shakira, noting there is chemistry between them. Shakira, who split from longtime partner Gerard Piqué last summer, has found comfort in Cruise, described as a nice-looking and talented man.
The Hollywood star reportedly sent flowers to Shakira after their interaction at the race event in South Florida. They were seen chatting on the race starting grid and in a private hospitality suite.
Shakira, full name Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, shares two children with Piqué, while Cruise has three children from previous marriages.
Cruise recently made headlines by winning Best Performance in a Movie for “Top Gun: Maverick” at the MTV Movie Awards, showcasing his trademark showmanship by delivering his acceptance speech from a jet.
