Shakira led the stylish arrivals alongside fellow music stars Karol G, Anitta, and Rosalia at the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards held in Seville, Spain on Thursday.
The 46-year-old singer, who was nominated for seven awards and won three, impressed on the red carpet in a daring Harris Reed gown. The black dress featured a provocative thigh-high slit and bold cut-outs that showcased Shakira’s stunning figure. A lavish gold corset bodice added a regal touch, accentuating her cleavage, while a long train added dramatic flair. Completing her look were sky-high gold heels that exuded confidence as she posed for photographers.
Among Shakira’s seven nominations were Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Song for her collaboration “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” with producer Bizarrap. She clinched the Song of the Year award, triumphing over her own tracks and others, and celebrated by high-fiving her youngest son, Sasha, who is seven years old.
Accompanied by her nine-year-old son Milan, dressed in a stylish cream satin jacket and shorts, Shakira enjoyed front-row seating at the event. The Colombian superstar shares both boys with her ex-husband Gerard Piqué, a former professional soccer player, from whom she separated last year after 11 years of marriage amid allegations of infidelity.
Later in the evening, Shakira and Bizarrap secured wins for Best Pop Song and Best Urban Interpretation for their collaboration. For her performance of “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” and the emotional ballad “Acróstico,” dedicated to her children and also nominated for Song of the Year, Shakira changed into a revealing bodysuit. She captivated audiences with her rendition, wearing a glittering gold Dolce & Gabbana dress and matching microphone, while a pre-recorded video of Sasha and Milan singing along added a touching element to the performance.
Karol G, also up for seven awards, looked stunning in a sparkling pink sequin mini dress with a strapless, low-cut neckline that accentuated her hourglass figure.
