Shakira’s sons seem to be following in their talented father’s footsteps.
The singer and soccer player Gerard Piqué proudly supported Sasha, aged four, and Milan, aged six, during their soccer practice on a Friday afternoon in Miami.
The globetrotting family, known for their multiple residences around the world, spent their Christmas holiday beachside in Florida. When Shakira isn’t captivating audiences on stage, she enjoys watching her sons shine on the soccer field.
Accompanied by Piqué, Shakira was seen at a local soccer field in Miami, observing their sons’ weekly youth football practice. Despite her usual glamorous stage presence, Shakira opted for a more casual look to fully engage in the day’s soccer activities. She wore a vintage AC/DC jersey tee paired with distressed light-wash denim and chunky Nike sneakers.
Piqué complemented her style with grey Nike sneakers and a crisp white Nike hoodie. Football holds significant importance in their family, with Piqué playing as a center-back for Barcelona.
Shakira, known for her infectious smile, was visibly delighted as she cherished every moment of the practice session.
Their sons, dressed in complete soccer gear including matching grey and yellow cleats, clearly inherited their parents’ passion for the sport.
Shakira and her 32-year-old Spanish partner have been together for almost a decade. They first met on the set of Shakira’s ‘Waka Waka’ music video, the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, which Piqué’s team won that year. Although they initially connected in 2010, their romantic relationship officially began in early 2011. Shakira announced her first pregnancy with Piqué’s child via Instagram in the fall of 2012, and two years later, they revealed they were expecting their second child, Sasha, who was born in 2015.
Despite their decision not to marry, Shakira and Piqué are committed to building a loving family together.
