Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour made its Australian concert debut on February 16 in the evening at Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The stadium is vast. With a seating capacity of 100,024 people, the Melbourne Cricket Ground is the largest stadium in the Southern Hemisphere and the ninth largest in the world.
At the beginning of the performance, Taylor Swift said, “This is the biggest show of this tour, as well as any of my previous tours.” According to Taylor Swift, 96,000 people attended her event at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The audience “erupted” when Taylor Swift confirmed this information.
Taylor Swift was moved by the large crowd who attended the occasion.
